If You Abide In Me

“If ye abide in me, and my words, my promises abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” – John 15:7. This is one hundred percent Jesus talk and I want you to let this verse sink deep into your innermost being. To abide in the Lord means, living inside the Lord and the Lord living inside of you. Then the Holy Spirit can reveal what God’s will is for you.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” – John 15:4. This is a powerful statement! When you have Jesus dwelling on the inside, you do everything right. Pray right, study the Bible right and rejoice right. Then you will have plenty of peace and joy in your life.

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” – John 15:16

When you abide in the Lord, you abide in his great, divine love; and there isn’t anything in the world like the divine love of God. The Bible says God is love; “and he that dwelleth in God, and God dwelleth in Him.” – 1 John 4:16. And through God’s great love he gave us his only begotten Son who had been by his side for a trillion years or more; but he gave Him just for us. “For God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

When the Lord gives us Jesus, he gives us his whole heart. When Jesus came, he brought everything divine that we would ever need straight from the throne of grace. Therefore, when you abide in Him, you enjoy his grace love. And his grace, the Bible tells us, is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

The Bible also says that we are to present ourselves before his throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (– Hebrews 4:16). When you abide in the Lord, he abides in you; and you’re able to come and ask what you will. “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19. All your needs will be supplied because that’s exactly what God has promised, but he can’t work with doubt and fear. So he has provided the cure for them. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” – 1 John 4:18. The Holy Ghost will take the blood that is in your soul and he’ll flush all the fear out.

Thank you my Jesus,
I Love you, Amen!
